Day or night, just one Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ tablet provides rapid relief of heartburn and acid indigestion with a cooling mint flavor.  Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ helps treat heartburn and acid indigestion caused by eating or drinking certain foods and beverages, such as hot and spicy foods. To relieve heartburn symptoms associated with acid indigestion and sour stomach, take Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ at the first signs of discomfort, whether during or after a meal.

    Cimetidine 200 mg

  • For Prevention and Relief of Heartburn

    To prevent heartburn symptoms, take Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ before your first bite or any time up to 30 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that may cause heartburn. To relieve heartburn symptoms and for relief of acid indigestion and sour stomach, take Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ at the first signs of discomfort.

    For Stomach Acid Control

    Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ controls stomach acid for hours and prevents heartburn from returning. Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ can also be taken at bedtime to prevent heartburn at night. Tagamet® Icy Cool Mint™ offers heartburn relief associated with acid indigestion and sour stomach.

  • Read the directions and warnings before taking this product. Keep the product information sheet. It contains important information.

    Adults and Children 12 Years and Over:
    To relieve symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water. For prevention of symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water right before or any time up to 30 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that cause heartburn. Do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.

    Children Under 12 Years:
    This product should not be given to children under 12 years old unless directed by a doctor.

    Store at 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C).

  • Allergy Alert:

    Do not use if you are allergic to cimetidine or other acid reducers.

    Do not use if you have trouble or pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stools. These may be signs of a serious condition. See your doctor.  Do not use with other acid reducers.

    Ask a doctor before use if you have frequent chest pain; frequent wheezing, particularly with heartburn; unexplained weight loss; nausea or vomiting; stomach pain; had heartburn over 3 months (This may be a sign of a more serious condition); heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating or dizziness; chest pain or shoulder pain with shortness of breath; sweating; pain spreading to arms, neck or shoulders; or lightheadedness; kidney disease; liver disease.

    Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. Acid reducers may interact with certain prescription drugs.

    Stop use and ask a doctor if you need to take this product for more than 14 days; stomach pain continues; your heartburn continues or worsens.

    If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

    Keep out of reach of children.

    In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

    Each tablet individually sealed in a blister pack. Do not use if blister or foil is open or torn.
